- CENTRE OF TECHNICAL STANDARDIZATION (CTN)
The Centre of Technical Standardization was established by the Agreement of Co-operation 
between the Czech Standards Institute (CSNI) and Institute for Testing and Certification,
a joint-stock company Zlin for the following fields:
- PLASTICS
- RUBBER
- SHOES
- CHILD CARE PRODUCTS
- CTN'S PROFESSIONAL SERVICES:
- preparation of standards
- consultation procedure for ISO and CEN standards
within the Czech Republic for the above-mentioned products based on the authorization
of the Czech Standards Institute
- search for Czech and foreign standards for the
specified topic
- verification of validity of standards used by
the customer for the purposes of quality systems
- elaboration of company standards
- elaboration of comprehensive studies of Czech,
European and other normative documents (including EC/EU standardization documents)
- elaboration of studies focused on proposal of testing procedures
defining products's characteristics
- maintaining a number of database products ' about
unfinished ISO and CEN standards, about CSN standards, including harmonized standards
and determined standards
- consulting in the process of elaboration of technical
documentation and product's operating instructions in accordance with the
Act No. 22/1997 Coll, related Government Orders and other acts as amended
- continual monitoring of Czech and foreign standardization

- The Association of Technical Standardization of Rubber
and Plastics Industry is a purpose-built group of organizations, which
take concern in increasing competitiveness of products and which need up-to-date
information to this effect. The members are provided with complete information about
legislation of the Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, EU and about standardization
in the field of plastics, rubber and products manufactured of these materials.
