SCOPE OF ACTIVITIES OF THE LABORATORY

Accredited calibration laboratory No. 2222 ensures calibration of working reference standards, working measuring instruments and measuring equipment in the following fields:

  • electrical quantities
  • magnetic quantities (outside the scope of accreditation)
  • frequency and time
  • temperature
  • pressure
  • length
  • spectrometry
  • hardness of plastics and rubber materials
  • ozone concentration

    • The main purpose of calibration is to create metrological traceability of the measuring instruments data to  higher order reference standards. Calibration of all measuring instruments is conducted according to the Act on Metrology No. 505/90 Coll. as amended. Calibration services are used especially in chemical, food, agricultural and biological laboratories as well as in laboratories in hospitals, in hygiene and veterinary stations, in waterworks laboratories, in drug substances control and environmental control facilities, in power engineering laboratories,  geology and in other related fields.
