Official Measurement

ITC is the workplace authorized to the official measurement by The Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing. This authorization is declared according to the Law about metrology that ITC is independent subject that assumed the official bond for correctness of metering. The result of metering has character of the public document.

Certificate about the official metering is certificate that has occasional content inclusive of official metering results. But certificate cannot be identify with expert´s report and cannot be substitute with test list of the measuring instrument connecting with the quantity that is the object of the official metering.

Certificate:

	content the true confirmation of the ascertained reality
	s binding on all subjects referring to the metering or related with it
	s the probative device, courts and other state organs are obligated with it

OTher authorization in the area of official metering relates to the following branches:

	noise measuring
	assignation of the content of the organic and inorganic substances in a water, solid substances and liquids, in the atmosphere and biological materials.

Equivalent rating of official metering is conducted in compliance with the Law about metrology no. 119/2000 Coll. and executorial public notice no. 262/2000 Coll. on terms and testing processes that are mentioned in a authorization condition.

Condition of official metering are except authorization, certificate about the professional qualification of the official measurer concerned with official metering, usage of the measuring instruments which correspond to requirements of the state metrology control and control which is made by metrology body.

The official measurer (gauger) is defined as a personal entity with the qualification confirmed by the statute organ and is concerned with technical activity and results of the official metering.
