SCOPE OF THE LABORATORY ACTIVITIES

Testing laboratory experimentally determines flammability and fire characteristics of:

	construction materials
	surface finishing
	liquids
	plastics and rubbers
	textile materials
	car interiors partsl
	cables
	upholstered furniture
	personal protective equipments
	hazardous substances, preparations and waste

TESTING

	flammability degree of construction materials
	material inflammableness
	flammability of hose-pipes, foamed plastics, car interiors, sealing, toys, floorings, conveyor belts
	flash-point
	fire point
	ignition of vertically oriented samples
	spread of flame velocity in textile
	tablet test of the flooring's flammability
	test of flooring with hot nut
	cigarette test of beddings and upholstery
	safety-match test of beddings and upholstery
	resistance against small particles of molten metal

Tests are conducted mostly in special multipurpose chambers allowing testing of both small and large samples. Especially fire characteristics of building materials are evaluated by computer technique that gives more precise results and better quality of professional service.
