SCOPE OF LABORATORY ACTIVITIES:

	Plastic and rubber construction materials, products and semi-finished products (e.g. window profile, baths, basins, shower baths and hods, cleaners, floorings, piping systems, thermal insulation, water insulation, steam-permeable foils, cover boards, catch drain of cage, materials suitable for ground fortification, sport surfaces, playgrounds, shaped bricks for pavement surfacing, elements for noise reduction, protective geotextiles for dump construction and square insulation, geotextiles for road and railway corridors, floor coverings etc.)

	foamed plastics

SCOPE OF THE LABORATORY ACTIVITIES

There are conducted especially following mechanical tests in the laboratory:

	static and dynamic
	destructive and deformation

	static (tension strength)

	with gradual or alternating stress (fatigue, dynamic hysteresis).

	pressure tests (compressibility, rateability limit, elasticity limit, yield limit, maximal and destructive limit, ring XXXXXXXXXXXXX)
	bending tests

	rubber elasticity determination (Schob and Lupke)
	rubber fatigue testing using cyclic tensile load (Monsanto, DPGi)
	torsion toughness at low temperatures (Gehman)

Tension tests are conducted on the universal electronic devices Instron, part of it is a temperature chamber for measuring temperature from ?80°C till +315°C, equipment for record of tension course ? deformation, extensometer etc.
These tests and equipment are used also for detection of adhesion and cohesion of mastic, surface finishing and paints.

Laboratory is provided with appropriate measuring and testing equipment for conduction of a number of rubber and plastic tests, e.g. detection of the rubber embrittlement point, rubber resistance against fatigue during repeated compressing, rubber flex cracking resistance, abrasion resistance.

	hardness of plastics (hardness tester Frank, Hampden, Zwick)
	determination of impact strength CHARPY a IZOD
	product proportions (sliding digital measurement instruments, thickness meter, micro-thickness meter, cirkometer and measuring microstereoprojector for particularly small proportions)
	weight, square weight
	measurement of destructive pressure and volume of condoms (special chamber)
	detection of condoms perforations (electronic way)
	unique testing equipment for pipeline systems testing

Laboratory keeps at disposition a workshop for preparation of test specimen by milling, cutting out, pressing, cleaving.
Chosen chemic analysis, colour stability, health intoxicity tests, fire characteristics, ageing tests (climatic tests), transport phenomena tests are conducted in cooperation with specialized ITC laboratories .

The testing laboratory offers the results of unaccredited methods ? especially in the case of requirements for testing according to special process.

Technical qualification of workplace allows take advantage of device park in many various ways.
